As the title of this site indicates, my name Marius Gundersen, a telematics student at NTNU, the Norwegian University of Technology and Science . I'm currently working on my master thesis on automatic keystone correction of pico-projectors in cellphones, which I'll be done with at the end of June 2011. During the five years I've been at NTNU I've spent much of my time at Omega Verksted, an organization for engineering students interested in making electronics, software and coffee, working on things like remote controls and charlie-plexing. I also enjoy programming for the web, for example building 3D and multiplayer game engines in JavaScript.
Having grown up on and near the ocean, I spend as many windy days as possible sailing. For several years I competed in the 29er class in Norway, I've been sailing weekly regattas in Sydney Harbour and in 2010 I got second place in the national Yngling championship. For the 2011 season I am sailing with the Parody Racing Team, which is competing in national and international regattas, including the European Championship in Århus, Denmark.
I use this website to publish projects that I finish and to host work which is currently in progress. On Twitter and del.icio.us I link to interesting things I find on the web, and on Stack Overflow I ask and answer questions. If you want to get in contact with me, you can send an email to me [at] mariusgundersen [dot] net.
Hello Marius, I asked the question regarding how to explain or articulate myself better. Your answer was great by the way. I am writing you an e-mail because I noticed you are from Norway. I am half Norwegian, my Mother's side. She is from Bergen. Did you catch the Winter Olympics? My mom was going nuts every time a Swede beat a Norwegian in Cross Country, lol. In the end, the Norwegians had a very strong showing.
